Christmas Decorations: How Early Is Too Early?

I even have one friend who actually put up her Christmas decorations the DAY after Halloween... Used to, we put everything up the day after Thanksgiving as part of the Holiday weekend and all... Afterall, once Santa arrives closing the Macy's Parade down, isn't it officially Christmas Season? Not to be too "Miracle on 34th Street" but seriously, that's the way we always looked at it, even before artificial trees became quite the social norm! So what about you? Are you already decorated and ready for Santa before that Thanksgiving Turkey ever hits the table? Or Do you wait until later? I've even noticed that one house on the way to the babies' school is already decked with Christmas lights and Christmas trees outside...so what about you? Are you already decking your halls?
