School Fees: How Much Was YOUR Damage?

School fees really got us this year. My trio had $35 each plus $15 totebag fees and that was before school supplies & uniforms for each.
My eldest really took the cake, though. This year, we have 8 classes instead of the usual 6 so it was already destined to be higher, ESPECIALLLY with the extra 2 classes being electives.
Try not to gag or blanch over this one, but his actual fees totalled out at right at $300. That's before I found out that he had to have a tux & dress shoes for choir...YUCK!!!
I did manage to score the tux or most of it off of EBAY thankfully with the jacket shirt tie cumberbund studs & cufflinks for aproximately $40 and some change. The pants will be about $15 once I get him measured (hard to corner him with soo much going on!)
So how much were your school fees? What class was responsible for the highest amount? Our bad ones were choir ($65 + the tux & dress shoes) followed by fencing which is $40/yr for the class, $40/yr for the team fee & $60 for the USFA membership so he can compete. This doesn't include his whites (uniform) & equipment (masks cords blades & bags.)
Share your costs & stories here!!!.
