A Homecoming Halloween

Halloween was very interesting for us. You see, at the haunt, I barely got out in time to get home to get Bregon ready for the big day.
Not only was Saturday Halloween, but it was Homecoming for Bregon as well!!! His very first BIG DATE!!!! Sure, he's gone to dances before, all through middle school. He and his best friend always tore up the dance floor as tradition dictated for them. This year, he had to start high school sans that best friend, but with his friend Crystal who wanted him for her Homecoming date. So, when I got home, I was all sorts of worried about him not having bathed or anything, but it was all good. Apparently he was very excited himself about the whole thing, and had already managed to shower and was half ready and fretting by the time I got to him. He was soo cute. He was fretting over his britches being too small for him anymore. All I had to do was ask if he was wearing his sacred funeral pants to discover that he in fact had forgotten about them being new. Once the pants problem was remedied, we had to move on to choosing an appropriate jacket for a Halloween Homecoming. He finally went with the leather Trenchcoat without the D-rings on it. He wanted to be Halloweenish, yet not pleather. He went with the classier version according to Bregon! It was soo cute. Crystal and her Mom arrived to finish dressing and we took lots of pictures out front of the porch. We had opted for the "Ride & Dine" where the kids would get dinner at Pierremont Oaks with a Soda bar, and then a chartered bus to and from the dance all night. Afterwards, they returned to Pierremont Oaks for breakfast before coming home for the night! All in all they had a grand time. Bregon even got to dance with his Asian friends and they all thought of Brandon and missed him together while they danced like there was no tomorrow.
