We Had Our Flu Shot Yesterday!

we have medicaid
we got the flu mist yesterday-at our dr office- pediatric associates has it & will give it to you if you need/want it- my kids are 3 1/2 & qualified for it- we have a decent good dr...who cares- there were 5 other kids also in the office about the same age getting the same thing-
so the mist can & is being given to kids that age group- its your choice-
there is a very large very lengthy letter on dr boggs (i guess its still his office that is there by our dr's) that states how they dont have the flu vaccine & probably wont due to the govt taking over distribution of it-whatever that means
so if i were you, if you want your child immunized, i'd get the mist if given the chance- sure you CAN get flu like symptoms for about 4 days as with most immunizations our kids get- so grab some tylenol & have at it- better this than having to go thru weeks or months of it mutating throughout my household...we managed to stay out of the dr office all last winter & i want to continue to do the same this year if possible- but my kids with their poor immune systems can catch it if i run into someone who has a friend who had a friend who had it....so hey, we got our flu mist & will get our booster around thanksgiving...
as for h1n1, i dont know bout that- havent decided yet- if the dr's who worked on it wont take it or give it to their kids, then why should i give it to mine? there are all sorts of articles floating around out there on the subject- lets not get started on that rot...there is soo much of it!
its a personal choice-plain & simple
but if you want the flu mist, i told you who has it now & you can call & have it done monday if you need it- & i have medicaid & they still gave it to me no problem at all...just for the asking
