Buddy Ted

Today, Husband got rained out at work and came back home just in time to play with the babies! As little people often do, they immediately set about milking the Daddy for all he is worth. They became demanding, needy little people. They ended up with real cups with water in them, practicing drinking out of them at my kitchen floor's expense! Then, Kian realized that he didn't know where his most favourite disco ball necklace was. He hasn't really had that necklace in days, actually, but don't tell them that! He had his Daddy looking EVERYWHERE for that darn necklace! He even ended up scouring the laundry room for it! Of course as it turned out, Kian managed to remember where it was he had left it, only he didn't tell his Daddy. So Daddy scoured the laundry room, stumbling accross a bag of stuffed animals that had found its way in there on its way to Goodwill. Of course the babies had to have its contents distributed amongst them. Kai ended up with a Halloween Vampire and Ghost set. Vivienne ended up with Yogi Bear. Kian jumped at the chance to have this tiny blond teddy bear with a red ribbon bow around his neck. Yep, you guessed it, it looked very much like his best Buddy Ted who he loves more than anything. So, he made his Daddy go upstairs and fetch his Ted so that he could meet his new little brother. He introduced the new bear to Ted as "Buddy Ted" and life has been sweeter ever since. They are in the living room now, cuddling together on the sofa. They already had lunch together and shared a cupcake divided three ways. It's good to find a Buddy Ted for your Best Friend Ted to keep everyone happy for a time!
