An Outing

Last night I was able to take the kids to see Disney On Ice. Yep, you read that right, I somehow managed to finagle a way to take ALL 4 kids to see the show!.
That last ticket was a last minute thing, so I found myself making a wild bee-line for Century-tel box office at 4pm trying to get there in time to avoid any chance of not getting that last ticket!
Bregon really REALLY wanted to go and badly! I somehow made it on time, too!
I was able to park in front of the office, so we left the stroller and tried hand-holding, something that we have been really working on lately to make our lives a bit safer and more interesting.
I am proud to say that yes, it worked. All of my kids are now used to holding hands with me.
Notice I said with me, not with each other! Yes, I have two of my kids hold the same hand at the same time and walk side by side with me and somehow it works out and I have a good grip on them and they have one on me too!
We walked into that box office instead of rolled! The boys took advantage of the open space and checked out the mudbug costume in the office while I stood in line to get Bregon's ticket.
They looked in the glass cases and tried out the line made by the dividers in front of it that only very small people could fit into!
They were very good considering the circumstances and we managed to get that last ticket.
Then we sped back over the bridge to meet with husband so he could see the kids before he had opera rehearsal that night!
We managed to get everyone fed, changed and ready to go in time, too!
I picked Bregon up from Renzi and we headed back to collect my little people.
We managed to get over to the Arena at a decent time, too! Parking wasn't even a problem!
I even somehow managed to find time to meet with a friend for a tiny second too, before having to go inside to get our seats!
When we got inside, the crowd had already cleared out, so we had no trouble getting into the elevator (we have to go by ourselves because nobody else fits with us!)
Upstairs, I stopped at the souvenier stand and found new Buzz Lightyear figures for each of the trio, their favourite!
Bregon was very happy to be allowed to get some pizza for dinner, and was most impressed with our seats!
He had never seen folding theater seats before! We rolled the kiddos right on in and got them situated exactly as the lights were dimming! Perfect timing for us!
I had worried about Kaiden wanting out of the stroller like he did at Elmo Live, but he didn't ever even ask.
He was enraptured with EVERYTHING!!!! He couldn't stand himself. I never heard a peep out of him except to give him a tiny sip of sprite that I had split among the babies.
Vivienne was a little frightened for some of the characters because she thought that they were in danger, but she was cheering in the end!
Kian was soo happy to sit there and play with his new Buzz. Plus, he was happier to see him on stage!
All in all, we had a great experience this go round! We didn't get any mean comments and didn't get stuck anywhere odd with the stroller!
And the most important thing is that we had a normal family outing for once and nobody cried!
