Christmas Time Already???

Posted by Vulnadia on Nov 15, 2009 at 12:04 PM Well, I just managed to close my Halloween show. It was huge, it was major and took months & months to prepare for, implement and yes even close! Now, we are hitting the ground running with everything ELSE!!! Just when I thought it was safe to relax, I have MORE STUFF TO PLAN & DO!!!! Last night, we had the show cast party complete with tiny Hell Hound Cake for good measure. Now, we are gearing up for Bregon's Birthday Party which will be next weekend, also out at the haunt building: AirSoft Gun Wars by request!!!! So, I have all of that to plot and plan for and get everything the house, the haunt etc. ready!!!! In addition to that, we have a performance piece slated for December 5th (the artist is very sick so it is still quite up in the air but I hear all of the artwork is done so it may yet still be a go.) Then we are gearing up for Junior Olympic Qualifiers which also happens to fall the same weekend as Husband's Birthday, OH MY! Sometime in December we must also have our Theater Christmas party because none of us can bear to be apart for long! And then of course that brings us to Thanksgiving and Christmas all rolled up in there somewhere to prepare for as well!!!! We accidentally started Christmas shopping on Friday night instead of going Grocery shopping!!! That's great and all save for the fact that the pantry is still sorta empty!!!! But Wal-mart was a blast with Husband...and Pier One....and World Market... We THINK Daddy is headed out to Florida for Thanksgiving, but we aren't sure yet. If so, we will have a quiet family Thanksgiving at home...which the children have already planned out for us even though they are only 3... Yep, apparently they realized what Christmas is, and how it's going to go. They also know that Sunday is Bregon's birthday...just not WHICH Sunday...so they have been wishing him Happy Birthday all day long even though it is next week! They have it all sorted...you see...first it is Bregon's birthday, then it is Thanksgiving the following Thursday...they are trying to speed things along you see!!! On Thanksgiving they plan on watching the parade, eating turkey, baking Christmas Cookies and then moving Mommie's computer off of the Tree Table (they call it that now) and putting up a certain Tree and decorating it! In fact Kai is quite expecting presents that day as well...he knows there is one in the hall closet waiting on him all pretty and wrapped and ready to go...too funny! Sadly, they also know where the Christmas tree is kept and keep trying to break in and get it out!!! I'm in trouble!!!
