Procrastination, Bregon's Newest Artform!

Posted by Vulnadia on Mar 12, 2009 at 06:28 PM It's apparently becoming an artform for my eldest... We had no less than 3 major projects due this week, with one due at the beginning of next week.... And of course he waited to start them all this week!!!! Oh it's not that I didn't know about them, I have ridden his butt about em for weeks now. But he didnt finish them near enough to keep me from having to do a fancy print job at midnight last night... Or figure out how much floam he needs to make the entire solar system in time for me to actually find and locate the materials necessary for proper scale replication... Oh & the poetry...did I forget to mention the poetry he was supposed to have been looking up?? He asks me for suggestions...so silly me thoughtlessly spewed Byron & Shelley out of my mouth, not thinking . Will he get sent to the office for content choice??? No we did not do "Ad lesbiam" but he thought about it!!!! Then he had to analyze them...so he got "Ozymandias" in 30 seconds or less...defined for him. Thank goodness for that AP English class! I guess it could have been worse, we could have done a little Keats...or something along the lines of "To the virgins to make much of time" or worse....but hey.... Now if I can just get the idea of how much floam there is in the solar system ,we will be in business!!!!! Why, oh why do they feel this is necessary???? I know that we must have all engaged in it at one time or another in our lifetime, but we're much too busy for this!!!!
