My Industrious Babies

Posted by Vulnadia on Feb 27, 2009 at 09:12 AM After the Mardi Gras parade on Sunday, my babies came home and removed all of their loot. We went through the usual sorting, and discovered that one should only wear soo many beads around ones neck before they start leaving red marks and making us lose our balance! While I was cooking dinner, the babies went to work. Vivienne got out the huge red mega blok firetruck and put all of her beads inside the middle of it. She then took her stuffed animals and set them gingerly on the ladder that goes accross the top just like she had seen in the parade. Next, she took the tiny collar clip-on doggie that we caught and placed him in the drivers seat and set about driving her firetruck float around the living room, tossing beads to the baby dolls. Meanwhile, Kian got the big ride-on dump truck and put all of his beads in the back of it. He also placed his sippy cup and paci in it for good measure along with his bear and turtle that he caught at the parade. Next, he hopped in the drivers seat and got in line behind Vivienne's fire truck and commenced to joining in the makeshift festivities as they drove around the living room tossing their beads together. Kai decided that now would be a great opportunity to wheedle more beads out of his siblings, so he joined the recieiving crowd and donned all of the beads that he could catch, leaving one pair per baby doll along the "Route." My kids are so very industrious sometimes!
