Car Rides!

This week I really learned just how much my little people enjoy and appreciate a good car ride.
On Sunday, we rode to the Highland Parade and back and everyone was cute, sweet and good.
Tuesday, we went for a car ride to see Elmo at the Century-tel Center. This car ride was especially fun because we got to see all sorts of Sesame Street characters sing and dance and we met other triplets while we were there!
On Wednesday, I woke the kids up to get the ready to go to the Growing Pains sale in Bossier and made the mistake of telling them about the pending car ride.
I thought that Vivienne and Kai were just eating breakfast as usual, but they are sneaky sometimes.
The next thing I know, there is an unusual amount of light pouring into the hallway while I was changing Kian.
I jumped up as soon as I realized that my dining room table was vacant and that I was missing two of my trio!
I went running out the very unlocked and open front door to find Kai and Vivienne standing out in front of the house on the sidewalk waving at the cars as they drove by.
They were ready for their car ride and had decided to get a head start even on me!
That was super scary, but nobody was hurt. I learned that they now know how to unlock the deadbolt on the front door, too.
Today, we got up and went to our WICC appointment. Everybody ran to the front door when I told them it was time, and each baby walked outside, down the front stairs, and got into the van like big kids do without any problem.
They are getting so very big. It seems just like yesterday that they were tiny micro-babies, lost in their huge baby carriers!
