Teen Dream Crush

Posted by Vulnadia on Feb 20, 2009 at 03:30 PM So, I have finally discovered the source of the moping, attitude problematic issues that I have been experiencing with my eldest these past few weeks. He has a crush. It's not just any crush, it's a crush on an older girl at that. You know, that kind of crush. She is technically a teacher, but is a college student. She is also his music teacher. She doesn't know, or at least I don't think that she is aware of it. But boy are we here at home! She made him a cd of some Jazz piano songs and gave it to him the other day to help him with his piano solo from school. You would think she gave him a bit of gold or something, the way he fauns over it. It's cute, really, it is. But oh my goodness, he is moody, and that attitude is something to be contended with! So, I have to ride this one out. And try and stay sane and be a good Mum about the whole thing. Anybody else have any words of wisdom for me? I need all the advice I can get!
