Cheap Baby Thrills

Today, working became almost impossible after all 4 of the kids ended up fighting.
Yep, that's right, Bregon is included in this one, can ya believe it?
He is overdue for his after having to learn to cope with the loss of his best friend in a horrible accident even though he has had Film Camp and this past week the addition of Fencing Camp along with it to try and forget.
But, the noise and the fighting just finally became too much this afternoon, so, I had to think fast and do something about it!
I decided that we would all go for a ride in the car, something that the babies all find as good as any theme park ride.
With promises of Icees, everyone was running, falling all over each other to get to the front door to go for that ride!
We toodled the whole four blocks to our favourite Icee store to get our Icees. Nobody even asked for their Parkie as we passed First Baptist, either, an amazing feat actually!
The babies even were nice enough to uniformly and quickly decide upon red Icees for the day.
Bregon grabbed the Starbucks container and ran in to fill the Icee order (Yep we have to have drink holders to pull such a stunt of this proportion off!)
Kai had noticed on the way to the mommie van, that there was this very nice Cozy Coupe parked just outside his front door and had immediatly started having seperation anxiety for his new favourite toy that he had yet to meet yet really.
I popped in a nice tried and true solution: Trout Fishing In America's Big Trouble!!!!
His tears dried immediatly and all three babies began doing their muppet dance and singing along in the backseat.
Bregon finally came out of the store with the Icee order and doled it out accordingly.
As an added treat, I decided to drive up Gilbert to Monrovia and take a turn past the Fire Station to see if by any chance the Fire Trucks might be having their bath for the day.
As luck would have it, everything was out in the drive!!!! So, we had an extra, added attraction and got to wave and blow kissies to the Fire Trucks and Firemen!
We arrived home with happy smiles and looking forward to cleaning up the new Cozy Coupe and going inside to give it a spin!
That Cozy Coupe is a whole other story, though!
