A Little Dog's Story Continued

Well, it's been over a week since we adopted that smiling little doggie and brought her into our home.
She finally has a name, too. She is the Lady Rogue. Everyone calls her Rogue most of the time as she not only has a little white stripe on her back at the base of her neck, but were she a boy, she might easily have been named "Tramp" as in Lady & The Tramp due to her scavenging tendencies!
Rogue loves her kids. She loves her kids soo much that she cries and whines whenever they go outside and she stays in or whenever she goes outside and the kids stay in.
She cries and whines whenever Bregon goes into the other room to take a shower or leaves for school for the day.
She even still cries when he leaves the car to run inside the gas station to fetch Icees for everyone.
Sure, she knows the kids aren't gone. She even understands their schedule, but it doesn't mean she has to like it! She always makes a point of being sad about them not being with her!
She has her own little bed in her crate which makes her happy. At first, we didn't know if we could trust her, but quickly it was discovered that she is very much potty trained, crate trained, and has implicit manners.
She even asks before getting up on the furniture. She asks before she goes outside or comes inside.
She waits for her meals politely and always sits for me to show me that she is ready to go into her crate for them.
The only problem we have run in to soo far is that the neighbor's fence isn't in the best of shape.
A board came loose and it allows our doggie to visit her doggie next door. Thankfully they both get along and are happy.
Unfortunately the weenie doggies on the other side aren't soo friendly.
We found out the hard way that they have been trying to eat through our blind fence so that they can get to our little doggie and my trio while they are outside playing.
For now, we have a brick blocking the spot where they had been chewing the wood.
We plan to slowly replace that part of the fence and hopefully our other neighbor will be game in us securing her part of the fence.
Today she not only had my little doggie visit her yard, but one of my babies went exploring as well!
All in all it's been a very eventful week, but our new addition is fitting in famously and seems to be very happy with us!
