Shopping For The Holidays

Posted by Vulnadia on Dec 14, 2009 at 10:28 AM Do you try and get all of your shopping done well in advance of Christmas rush or are you one of those scrambling on Christmas Eve day at the stores with a million other mad shoppers? I have been on both sideswith all of those mad peoplein the rush and bustle. I've also in years past ended up kicking myself because I couldn't find anything because everything is sold out (It seems to happen earlier every year actually.) However, since I've gotten older I've started to plan more, especially with having my trio now, I know I can't just wait until the last minute because there won't be anything left and for that matter I could never even come close to affording decent christmas for 4 on the fly! I do most of my shopping at the bi-annual consignment sales anyways, and tend to supplement from online deals from ebay & amazon.com. What do you do? What is your shopping secret? How do you catch the deals and make the magic happen without driving yourself insane???
