Triplet Play Time

Posted by Vulnadia on Dec 12, 2009 at 01:56 PM Yesterday, things got very quiet all of the sudden. You have to understand that my morning was very VERY LOUD!!! I looked up from my computer only to find my cherubic three year olds playing...TOGETHER. Yes, it may sound funny, but it's a rarity to find 3 3yr olds playing together with the same toys at the same time without any fighting. To add to it, they were working together. There wasn't any of the usual, "You be the mommie" type doling out of responsibility of what was to come. In fact, there wasn't any precurser to it, just sitting down and DOING which is the scary part. You see, they were playing Pirate. Kaiden had control of the ship, Vivienne had a pirate who was fighting with Kian's pirate and all of the sudden there was a storm. Kai automatically picked up and provided the whoosing rocking noise, Kian took over the movement while Vivienne saw to the outcome of the previously fighting pirates. The pirates held on for dear life while they were tossed from side to side, stern to bow & back again. One got washed over the rail while the other rushed to rescue him with a grappling hook from the skiff. Kian got up quietly and went to retrieve his Ted, who rose up out of the water playing the role of the "Kracken" and proceeded to sit atop the crows nest of the ship, Godzilla-style. Everyone worked together with no planning, They seemlessly worked and played together to do all of this. Wow!
