Something Squeaky...

Posted by Vulnadia on Aug 30, 2009 at 05:46 PM Friday morning, I woke up to the sound of repetitive squeaking coming through the nursery room monitor. The squeaking went on for over thirty minutes. You can imagine how annoying this might get! So, I listened to squeaking while I pulled up my worksite. It squeaked all through my making baby breakfast. The squeaking mysteriously ended as I set foot on the staircase to go upstairs to bring the kids downstairs for the day. I opened the door to the nursery thinking I was going to find them all three standing over some poor squeaky toy, beating it to a pulp, but that wasn't the case. Nope, Vivienne was sitting innocently in her bed as if nothing odd or out of the ordinairy was happening. Kian was laying on his back with his head on his pillow laughing hysterically. Kaiden was hanging over Kian's crib-rail, wearing the half demon halloween mask that they have added to their collection of contraband, stolen haunt props. Kai was saying "Ggggrrrrrrhhhhhh!!!!!" and tickling his brother. Nothing appeared to be squeaking anymore. I just shook my head, knowing it was going to be one of those days. I never did figure out what exactly was the source of all of that squeaking!
