All This For Tape?

Posted by Vulnadia on Mar 26, 2009 at 12:47 PM Yesterday, my tiny trio decided that Ted, Kian's teddy bear, needed diapering. They hadn't any problem reaching the diapers. In fact, Kai took a few extra and made train tracks on the back of the sofa with them so he could play "Polar Express." Vivienne apparently wasn't satisfied with just a diaper, though. She knows that you also need wipies, scissors, and tape to properly diaper anyone. So, she enlisted the aid of her trusty brother Kaiden, and they set out to conquer and obtain some tape that lived way up high above the television somewhere. So how do you find something that you cannot really see from their height? You remove what is blocking your sight-line, that's how. They collectively decided and formulated a plan to remove the very large television from its resting place on the shelf. Together they pulled it off of that shelf on to the floor. I just wish that they had bothered getting a couch cushion this time like they had when they did the same thing with the hermit crab tank months ago... Nobody got hurt, but I'm not really sure why or how that is. The television came down, as well as the cable box, the dvd/vcr machine and the Wii too Alot of movies also fell as well as a plethora of Wii accessories that also inhabited the higher shelves and were somehow intertwined with the television. I still cannot figure out why nobody got hurt. I'm very grateful that everyone is okay, but still the logistics were frightening! I don't know how I am even able to function after all of this! This has not been my week! Somehow the kids are okay, the television, dvd/vcr player, the cable box and the Wii all still work, in spite of the fall and the crashes they sustained. But Mommie needs a break and badly!
