The Bedtime Ritual

Posted by Vulnadia on Apr 05, 2009 at 03:48 PM My babies are rewriting their bedtime ritual. Oh, I don't mean like "Bath, Bottle, Bed" or anything like that, oh no! They literally hav a new ritual. As soon as the bedroom door closes for the night, Kaiden feels the need to run circles around the center of the room. Next, Kian and Vivienne climb out of their own beds, and move Kian's bed to the center of the room and join Kai in running rings around the bed. I have no idea what purpose this is supposed to serve, but to them it must mean something, because it has become a nightly ordeal! Last night, they pulled the weird multiple thing that kids do when born together, and decided to move their beds together after the running portion was over with. Yep, they can move furniture. They pushed the boy's bed together first. Next, they moved Vivienne's bed to the end of the double crib that they had formed, lengthwise accross their headboards. Oddly enough, this is exactly the way they were positioned in the womb per the ultrasounds. I will never know if that is the why of all of this, but that is how they wanted to sleep last night! So I suppose we had what could be called a "Multiple Moment!"
