Dad's Are Crying At The End Of Toy Story 3, Are You?

I had heard all sorts of leaks on the script early on and just could not BELIEVE that Andy would give his toys away to a daycare! After all, wasn't Woody a family heirloom sort of toy from another era? I mean, we all have them, don't we? I have Eloise who belonged to my aunt as a child, then my mum and by then she had become SUCH a huge part of our family, she came to live with me as a child, then grandmother just could NOT bring herself to put her away so she lived on in the living room all through high school and that was where I found her after my grandmother died. Eloise lives in my living room to this very day, sitting there on the bookshelf, waiting to play with my own kids whenever they need a friend... So I really didn't understand how Andy could give Woody away...or any of the other toys for that matter! But, the kids LOVE that franchise, so we went to see it for Kian's potty celebration...and it was terribly sad! The end choice was a grande one, I have to admit it was a great fit and the toys would be happy, but still it is soo bittersweet! So, fess up, who cried?
