Mardi Gras Madness!!!

Last weekend & yesterday, we caught the parades down on Clyde Fant at the Stoner Ramp. Yeppers, from the picture you can probably tell that we found yet another great use for our baby-playyard. This time, it served to contain my trio at the Mardi Gras Parades. We might look silly hauling the triplet stroller AND the dolly carrying the babygate & bags on it, but hey, it works and keeps us safe & my sanity in tact! We came away with soo much stuff it was almost embaressing yesterday. In fact, we started giving it away as much as possible because we couldn't figure out how to get it all back to our car safely! We ended up coming home from Gemini with 3 recyclable grocery bags full of beads cups & just stuff. Another pink canvas bag that is about 2ft by 2ft was overflowing with nothing but stuffed animals. Today, we filled that pink bag again full of stuff at our Mardi Gras Meet-up for the Highland Parade! We saw soo many people that we knew both in & out of the parade, it wasn't EVEN funny! It seemed like every time we turned around people were running up to us saying HI and tossing us stuff! Bregon caught 2 hotdogs off the hotdog float, so he had his lunch there! I caught dinner in the form of Ramen noodles, and the babies started off eating rice crispy treats from a friend of ours, and another old friend made sure they had ring pops and lifesavers! The babies also shared a big moonpie, and Kian squared away a mini-moon pie for later! We have had soo much fun with our Mardi Gras Madness this year!
