Back To School Confusion!

Posted by Vulnadia on Jul 22, 2010 at 02:02 PM Yesterday, we had our final testing for the trio's school eligibility. After all this, I THOUGHT that we would know where they were headed. Oh no, we haven't much clue save that the lady over everyone in the clinic could tell us it is our neighborhood school and then where the overflow for kids that could not be accomodated is... Which leads me to where we are now: buying common uniform pieces for both schools. YUCK!!! They supposedly have 30 days to figure out where they will put my 4yr olds scholastically. School actually starts in 3 weeks, both options require uniforms, and I have no real way of guessing where they will end up!!! I can't prepare my kids for anything...they HOPE they know who their teacher is but we just do not know for certain! Both schools are good ones, one is actually even better than the other is the nice part, but the anticipation is hard!!! So, I await that phone call or letter setting up my IEP meeting for the trio. Until then, I haven't any idea where they will be, oh my!
