Happy 4th Birthday!

Posted by Vulnadia on Mar 19, 2010 at 10:25 PM We were only up until 3am wrapping birthday presents, which is much better than what happened at Christmas where we didn't go to sleep at all! When the babies came downstairs, they had a breakfast birthday cupcake waiting on them at their places at the dining room table. Surrounding their cupcake bowls were piles of presents for each of them! It only took them 3 hours to open everything...a new record for them, actually! They were soo cute. Kian thanked EVERYONE profusely and often even in the middle of checking out a newly unwrapped present, usually two - three times per present... Vivienne opened each present with a WOW it's a "insert gift name here" exclamation. Kai had to have everything opened completely and removed from all packing before he would go on to the next one! Then it was time to head to the park for their party! I had the forthought to get everything packed into recyclable bags and had it by the front door, ready to go so that I didn't forget anything.

We made it to the park with 15 minutes to spare and set everything up. The babies each got sidetracked with the idea that they could put WHATEVER they wanted on their birthday cake. This is everyone gathered around their cake to "decorate" it with pirates of all sizes, tiny pirate ships, Lady Pirate Princesses & Mermaids as requested! They had such a good time that we let them keep going and put as much on there as they could manage! We shared our cake with our friends who marvelled over how many toys were on top! We had such a great time at the park for their birthday!
