It Must Have Been A Long Night!

Posted by Vulnadia on Jul 05, 2009 at 03:04 PM Yesterday, we had a babysitter come over and keep our tiny trio while we went to Dallas on a haunt field trip. My neice came over and kept the kids for us and her friend came as well and brought her own neice to play with my kids. I worried about the little girl because she was soo much younger, but Kai made sure to look out for her and took very good care of her while she was here! It must have been some night, too, because somehow, my kids managed to sleep in til almost 10. They got up and were soo sad and tired they all had little meltdowns in their own way. Kian managed to somehow make it downstairs without noticing that his head was bare. He ALWAYS wears his Thomas the Train Engine hat, but somehow he had forgotten it and didn't realize it til midway through his brunch! Next, Kaiden decided he needed cookies, but nobody could actually understand what it was he was saying until Kian calmed down enough after his hat was retrieved and put in its rightful place and he could translate for us. Vivienne wanted to change her shoes and have her hair put back up into her bow scrunchies and have pigtails before she would calm down! Everyone was crabby until waay after lunchtime, poor dears! We must have been quite a sight trying to appease everyone and calm all the tears down! What a day! I really wonder what time they went to sleep last night!
