Uniform Quandary

Posted by Vulnadia on Jul 26, 2010 at 12:57 PM It's that time of year, back to school, and we will be going to one of 2 schools, each of which requires UNIFORMS!!! so where is the best place to find little girl uniforms? the only skirts i can find in her size (tiny) are polyester & gross!!! so she has 2 pair of skorts so far & that's it for bottoms!!! once I find out for sure which school, i can do plaids, but at the moment i dont know yet!!! so where does one find cute normal material (like twill or cotton) khaki skirts for tiny little ladybabys??? i have ruffly shirts & all, & the boys well they are boys & easy...they have more than enough clothes (i hit on 3$ shorts at pennys on saturday) but vivienne is getting the short end of this stick!!! help! icool, do they do the plaids??? i really REALLY am looking for plaid skirts & pleated khaki skirt type things...just the twill though...even target had polyester!!! i checked!!! but we already have skorts!!! i have this weird thing about putting her in breeches...she's a girly girl & it just seems mean!!! i'm even gonna change out the buttons for her so she can have pretty..yes her clothes can make her cry...she is a consumer sadly!!! once i know about which school, i can go jumper or not...one allows them, the other doesnt...so i'm kinda stuck in a rut!!!! ~mimi bought the only 2pr of skorts they had in her size the day we were there... am trying to find the skirts in her size & academy didnt have anything but skorts!!! will try back again i suppose today old navy has uniforms $5 for shirts 10$ bottoms & i have a 30% off coupon for the order may do that route too & see! no, its hard to just run in anywhere when you have 3 4yr olds, so i thought i'd ask & see what everyone else knew before i actually tried it! shopping with 3 that age isnt fun & isnt easy no matter how good they try & be, ESPECIALLY in places that dont have child containment (shopping carts) & our stroller will not fit into shreveport gymnastics, so was hoping to find somewhere else with later hours!!! has anyone ever been to ranchland in bossier? they say they have them...but i dont know anyone who has actually been inside!!! fencing camp is over after tomorrow, so i hope to be able to try & hit the bankers hours spots next week & see what happens sans the kids... ~mimi
