When Siblings Give Baby-name Advice!

I went through LOTS of possibilities, but my favourites were "Marcie" from Peanuts/Charlie Brown and "Mandy" after my favourite dollie at the time (anyone else have a "My Friend Mandy" doll when they were a kid? They actually let me name my sister, but we only called her "Mandy," her real name is Amanda. Yes, she was named after my favourite doll at the time. And to think, she could have been a "Bilo, Eloise or even Rosie Posie!" So did you help name any of your siblings? Have you consulted your kids in the naming of their own siblings?
